The Hungarian-German volleyball star is renowned for his powerful serving skills. His serves reaches up to 131 km / hour.
Introduced to volleyball as a teenager, Georg Grozer enjoyed relative success during his youth career. However, it was when he moved to Germany and joined the german national team, that the titles started to arrive much more steadily.
Georg was named the ‘Best Scorer’ on the CEV European Leauge in 2008 and the following year chosen as the Best Blocker.
He dominated the German League throughout 2010-2014, claiming five individual awards as Player of the Year.
In 2016 and 2017 he was chosen the Best Opposite Spiker in the Asian Club Championship. Also in 2017 he claimed the Best Opposite Spiker of the CEV European Championship.
With his russian club Belgorod he won the CEV Champions League in the 2013/2014 season, later in 2014 won the FIVB Club World Championship.
